Union Minister Ajay Misra should resign: Rahul Gandhi on Lakhimpur Kheri violence case

The Congress delegation presented a memorandum of facts about the Lakhimpur Kheri incident to the President and demanded immediate dismissal of Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Misra.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi-led delegation on Wednesday met President Ram Nath Kovind over the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, in which eight people, including four farmers, were killed after a car ploughed into the crowd on October 3.

The Congress delegation presented a memorandum of facts about the Lakhimpur Kheri incident to the President and demanded immediate dismissal of Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Misra over the violence.
