
Two-year-old among three killed in separate road accidents

Three fatalities, including a two-year-old, prompt protests for urgent road repairs and traffic congestion solutions in Bengaluru.
A two-year-old boy was killed after a speeding car allegedly rammed into a scooter and ran over him near Kithaganur main road on Sunday evening.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred at around 6 p.m. when Vijayalakshmi and her son Badri were travelling on a two-wheeler along with two-year-old Trishan. They were heading from Kithaganur towards Margondanahalli.
While the scooter was halted in traffic, a car, allegedly driven at high speed from the same direction, collided with it from behind.
Due to the impact, the child fell onto the road, following which the car reportedly ran over him, causing grievous injuries.
The injured child was immediately taken to a private hospital in Bhattarahalli, where he was declared dead.
The complaint stated that the accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving. The police have registered a case, and further investigation is under way
