In view of the situation of the deadline for the PAN-Aadhaar link, Twitter was flooded with hilarious and sarcastic memes.
March 31, 2022 was the last date set by the Government of India for linking PAN card with Aadhaar card and netizens didn’t leave any stone unturned to complete the process. Last year, on the same date, a similar kind of advisory was published but the date was later extended.
According to new guidelines by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), it has been declared that the Aadhaar card and PAN can now be linked with a penalty until March 31, 2023. But of course, a penalty will be charged.
