On Tuesday, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman Y.V Subba Reddy formally invited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin to the auspicious Srinivasa Kalyanam which will be organised at the spacious island grounds on the banks of the Cooum river in Chennai on April 16.

The spacious Island Grounds on the banks of Cooum River is gearing up to host the celestial wedding of Srivaru with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi on the auspicious day of Chitra Pournami on April 16 in Tamil Nadu's capital Chennai.
As it is going to be the first religious fete organized by TTD after a gap of two years due to the Covid, elaborate arrangements are underway for the big spiritual event.
Under the personal supervision of the President of the Local Advisory Committee of Chennai, J Sekhar Reddy, the stage is set to host the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Venkateswara.
With a Dasavatara setting in the backdrop and the majestic structure of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in the middle, the mega-religious event will be a treat to watch.
On Tuesday, TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy also inspected the ongoing arrangements at the site.
