
Truck driver dies of electrocution in Greater Noida

A truck driver was killed after his heavy vehicle allegedly came in contact with a live wire of an electricity pole in Greater Noida on Thursday.
A driver allegedly died of electrocution after his truck came in contact with a low-lying wire of an electricity pole on NH 91 in Greater Noida on Thursday. The incident is of Badalpur police station area.
According to the information received, a truck was stationed on NH 91 on Thursday morning when a low-lying power cable got in contact with the metal part of the truck. It was when the driver tried to get into the vehicle that he got electrocuted.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. They then took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
According to the police, the deceased driver has been identified as Anmol, who had gone to pick up some goods after parking the truck on NH91, during which a pole wire came in contact with the truck.
