Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao met in Hyderabad on Tuesday to discuss politics on the national stage. According to top sources in the Telangana Chief Minister’s office, the two leaders agreed that there is an “urgent need for all democratic secular forces to unite to defeat the divisive and anti-democratic BJP” at the Centre. Further, they agreed that the BJP-led Union government’s policies were “anti-people, anti-farmers and anti-Dalit” and needed to be fought till the party is ousted, sources said. They decided to work together in the “ongoing anti-BJP struggle”, sources added.
