Transferred after busting Amazon-ganja racket, Bhind SP given royal farewell in ‘doli’

Manoj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind, was transferred to Bhopal on Friday. At his farewell party on Saturday, he was carried in a decorated doli (palanquin) by fellow policemen.

Manoj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind, was transferred to Bhopal on Friday. In a major administrative reshuffle, the state’s home department transferred nearly a dozen police officers.

But not all of them were given the special kind of farewell that Manoj Kumar Singh got.
