Ahead of Independence Day, security has been beefed up at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International airport in Kolkata. For the first time, a six-step mega security check has been put in place in the run-up to August 15. Passengers have to cross six security checkpoints before boarding their flight at the Kolkata airport. The first five security checks will be conducted by the CISF and the last step by the airline.
