
Told Sidhu to take bulletproof car, says witness to Moose Wala's murder

Sidhu Moose Wala's friend Gurwinder Singh, who was in the car when the Punjabi singer was was shot dead on Sunday, said that he had asked the Congress leader to take the bulletproof car. However, Moose Wala insisted on taking his Thar.
A key witness to the Sidhu Moose Wala murder, his friend Gurwinder Singh, who was in the car at the time of the crime, said that he had insisted on taking the bulletproof car on Sunday. However, Sidhu turned down the request.
Gurvinder Singh, who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at DMC Hospital in Ludhiana. He said: “I told him to take the bulletproof car while going out on Sunday. But he wanted to take the compact SUV (Thar).”

He said the song ‘Jatt Di Jawani Vich Tu Mithiy’ in the car when Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered.
Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on Sunday. A panel of five doctors completed the post mortem of Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot dead in Jawaharke village of Mansa district on Sunday. Around two dozen entry and exit bullet wounds were found on Sidhu Moose Wala's body, sources said. Excessive bleeding could have resulted in his death.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
