Mandar Chandwardkar aka Bhide of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has reacted to the rumours of his death. Here's what he said.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Mandwar Chandwadkar recently fell prey to a death hoax. The actor, who plays the role of Atmaran Tukaram Bhide in the sitcom, had to come LIVE on Instagram to quash his death rumours. After the news of his death went viral on social media, Mandar decided to issue a statement via video on social media. In the video, the actor mentioned that he is absolutely fine and shooting for TMKOC.

While interacting with his fans on Instagram LIVE, Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide said, "Namaste, How are you all? I hope the work is good. I am also at work. But there's news that someone has forwarded, so I thought to come LIVE before people get worried. On social media, rumours spread faster than fire. I just wanted to confirm that I am shooting and enjoying myself."

The actor further added, "Whoever has spread the false news, I request him to stop it. May God bless him with sadbudhi. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's artists are completely healthy and happy. They plan to do a lot of work in the future for many years and entertain people."

Meanwhile, it is being reported that Shailesh Lodha has decided to quit the show. The actor plays the role of Taarak Mehta in the sitcom, produced by Asit Kumarr Modi. As per a media report, the actor is not happy with his contract and how his dates are not being utilised properly.
