A TMC worker succumbed to injuries after he was allegedly attacked by 10-15 people with sharp weapons at a club in Keshpur’s Hariharpur.
Hours before voting began in Bengal for phase two, a Trinamool Congress worker was allegedly stabbed to death in Paschim Medinipur district in the early hours of Thursday. Police said 48-year-old Uttam Dolui was at a club at Hariharpur in Keshpur when around 10-15 people allegedly attacked him with sharp weapons. He died on the way to a hospital in Midnapore. The victim’s family alleged that BJP “goons” attacked him to create tension in the area and intimidate voters ahead of the Phase-2 polling.More Related News
