TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh stirred up the 2018 security guard case and said that he will request the police to investigate the leader who is accused of killing his bodyguard.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) spokesperson Kunal Ghosh on Thursday stirred up the 2018 security guard case and said that he will request the police to investigate the leader who is homosexual and is accused of killing his bodyguard.
Kunal Ghosh's comments come after the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, told a woman policeman not to touch him when the police went to detain BJP leaders.
Ghosh said, “I will request the police to investigate the case where one of the leaders’ personal guard died. Allegations of homosexuality have also surfaced. Why was that investigation stopped? Who is that homosexual leader who killed his personal guard? Who is allergic to females and prefers males? Who is that leader who killed his personal guard on suspicion that the matter would be leaked? We are not taking names.”
Last year, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the West Bengal government summoned BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari for questioning in connection with a case related to the probe into the unnatural death of his personal security guard three years ago.
Adhikari's personal security guard, Subhabrata Chakraborty, had allegedly shot himself using his service revolver in 2018 at a police barrack in East Medinipur. The CID set up a team to investigate Chakraborty's death after his wife filed a complaint seeking a probe.

Meanwhile, Ghosh made the homosexual statement a day after Abhishek Banerjee commented on a video of Suvendu Adhikari telling a woman policeman not to touch him. The TMC MP suggested that Suvendu Adhikari does not like female friends, he rather prefers male friends.
