
TMC releases nine-point agenda for Tripura civic polls

Trinamool Congress released its nine-point agenda ahead of the Tripura polls which is slated to take place on November 25.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) launched their nine-point agenda for the Tripura civic polls slated to be held on November 25. The polls have 334 seats, out of which Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has already won 112 seats uncontested earlier this month.
The nine-point agenda, termed as ‘Agartalar Jonno Nabaratna’ or nine gems of Agartala, focuses on various issues, including civic infrastructure, public safety, waste management, governance reforms, accessible healthcare, reduction in local taxes, water supply, social welfare and social security.
