TMC MP Sushmita Dev has hit out at Tripura Police after they released a statement saying the video footage of the alleged attack on her vehicle was not of much help in identification of suspects.
Trinamool Congress MP Sushmita Dev, who alleged that her car was attacked by BJP workers last month, has hit out at Tripura Police after the latter stated that the video footage of the incident is not of much help in identifying the suspects. She also took a swipe at CM Biplab Deb and asked him to "draft better tweets for the police". A statement released by Tripura Police read, “On behalf of the complainant (Sushmita Dev), a small video footage of the alleged incident and names of 04 suspects without their complete details were provided. The video footage does not help much in the identification of suspects.”
The incident is believed to have taken place between 2 am and 3 am on Sunday. The viral footage of the incident showed the luxury car executing high-speed turns and repeated drifts at the Anil Kumble Circle in Bengaluru.
