Actor Tisca Chopra shared an emotional tribute on Instagram after the death of her mother, Pammi Arora. She remembered her mother's joyful nature, life lessons, and her legacy as a beloved teacher.
Actor Tisca Chopra is mourning the loss of her mother, Pammi Arora, who died on March 7. The 52-year-old remembered her mother’s unique outlook on life by highlighting her influence both as a parent and as a teacher to generations of students.
Her words offered a glimpse into her mother’s personality, values, and the lasting impact she had on those around her.
In her tribute, Tisca wrote, "On the 7th of March, we said goodbye to my mother, Pammi Arora. Those who knew her loved her, instantly, completely. And the reason was very simple, she was so very light of being. Seriousness never stood much of a chance in her company. If a problem appeared, she had a two-word philosophy ready, ‘Mitti pao’. Throw some earth over it. Move on."
She shared that her mother believed that life was too lively to sit around nursing grievances. The actor expressed that her mother had a smile that resembled the moon peeping through clouds and nothing lingered too long in her mind.
Tisca described her mother’s approach to life as one filled with optimism and warmth. She credited her for teaching that kindness rises above all else.
She also acknowledged the influence her mother had on her artistic journey. "She also gave me something else that shaped my entire life: the artistic gene. The instinct to perform, to tell stories, to lean toward colour and expression rather than grey routine," the actor shared.
