Tiruchi Police implement traffic diversions on March 9 for DMK State conference with M.K. Stalin presiding.
The Tiruchi Rural Police has announced diversion of vehicular movements in connection with the DMK State conference to be held at Siruganur along the Tiruchi - Chennai national highway on March 9 (Monday). DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will preside over the conference which will be organised on a sprawling vacant site. The diversion will come into effect from 6 a.m.
All heavy vehicles proceeding towards Dindigul from Chennai will have to go via Perambalur bypass road, Thuraiyur, Musiri, Kulithalai Manapparai and Vaiyampatti. Madurai-bound heavy vehicles from Chennai will have to go via Perambalur bypass road, Thuraiyur, Musiri, Kulithalai, Manapparai, Puthanatham and Thuvarankurichi
Chennai-bound heavy vehicles from Madurai will be diverted at Viralimalai and proceed via Manapparai, Kulithalai, Musiri, Thuraiyur and Perambalur. Karur-bound heavy vehicles from Chennai will have to go via Perambalur by pass road, Thuraiyur, Musiri, Kulithalai and return in the same direction.
Heavy vehicles proceeding towards Ramanathapuram from Chennai will have to go via Perambalur bypass road, Thuraiyur, Musiri, Kulithalai, Manapparai and Viralimalai and return in the same direction. Heavy vehicles proceeding towards Salem and Namakkal from Ariyalur and Dalmiapuram will have to go via Keelapalur, Perambalur and Thuraiyur.
Vehicles of DMK party cadre coming to the conference venue from the western region such as Karur and Thottiyam would have to come via Kulithalai, Thuraiyur, Nagalapuram, Nakkasalem, Chettikulam, Irur, Alathur and Nedungur and return in the same direction.
Vehicles from the southern region via Madurai would have to come via Thuvarankurichi, Viralimalai, Panjapur, Kollidam Tollgate Y road, Panamangalam and take the Chidambaram national highway and proceed via Kumulur cut road, Thachankurichi to reach the Siruganur conference venue and return in the same direction.
