Actor Tina Ahuja has spoken publicly about the ongoing speculation surrounding the marriage of her parents, Bollywood star Govinda and Sunita Ahuja. Addressing the rumours for the first time, Tina admitted that the past couple of years have been challenging for the family.

Appearing in a Women’s Day special episode on her mother’s YouTube vlog, Tina acknowledged the turbulence that has surrounded their personal lives. “Two years have not been great. There has been turbulence,” she said, offering a rare glimpse into the family’s situation as reports about Govinda and Sunita’s relationship continue to circulate.

During the conversation, Tina reflected on how the past two years have affected the family dynamic. While she did not directly comment on the divorce speculation, she indicated that the period had been emotionally challenging.

Tina also spoke about the pressures women often face in prioritising others over themselves. “Us women do a lot for others, and we don’t think about ourselves,” she said, explaining that the Women’s Day video was meant to celebrate her mother’s strength and sacrifices.

As part of the vlog, Tina presented gifts to Sunita, acknowledging her role in holding the family together through difficult times.

Sunita Ahuja also shared her thoughts while reacting to the gesture from her daughter. She suggested that she has now decided to focus more on her own life.
