One of his teachers contacted him over the phone and informed him of his score. “I was travelling from Udupi to Shivamogga when I got my results. I am happy,” he said.
On his preparations for the annual examinations, Sahishnu said he did not take stress and studied from the beginning of the year. The teachers and his parents, who are also high school teachers, guided him whenever required.
Asked about his future plans, Sahishnu said he wishes to study engineering in an IIT after PU, and his dream is to teach in an IIT. Sahishnu’s father, A.K. They gave me study material and stood by me whenever I required their assistance in understanding concepts. Similarly, I had the blessings and support of my parents at home. My elder sibling who is pursuing engineering, also had stood 10th topper in SSLC,” she said.
Nitya Kulkarni wants to study MBBS and become a doctor. Her father, Muralidhar Rao Kulkarni, is an administrator in a private hospital in Shivamogga, and her mother, Kalpana M. Kulkarni, is a homemaker.
