Telugu Indian Idol Season 1: BVK Vagdevi bags trophy, wins Rs 10 lakh

Telugu Indian Idol Season 1 has its first winner! After nearly 15 weeks of run, the Telugu version of the reality show had its finale on June 17. The show premiered on February 25 on the Telugu OTT platform, aha.

So who won the prestigious title? Singer BVK Vagdevi bagged the trophy and Rs 10 lakh after she won the first season of Telugu Indian Idol.

BVK Vagdevi won hearts with her performance throughout the show. She won the prestigious title along with Rs 10 lakh. The singer also got the opportunity of singing in the upcoming Geetha Arts film. The second position was bagged by Sreenivas who won Rs 3 lakh, followed by Vaishnavi who took home Rs 2 lakh. The show was judged by Thaman S, Nitya Menon, and Karthik.

The mega finale was graced by Chiranjeevi. Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi also graced the show and gave some mind-boggling performances. They were promoting their upcoming film Virata Parvam.
