Tejasswi Prakash says 'people questioning my Bigg Boss 15 win are silly, bechara' | Exclusive

Tejasswi Prakash finds it cute that people are questioning her Bigg Boss 15 win. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actress opened up about how the love she received on the show was obvious.

Ever since Tejasswi Prakash won Bigg Boss 15, many celebs and BB fans have questioned her victory. However, this did not dampen the Naagin 6 actress's spirits. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Tejasswi Prakash said that you can't expect a sportsman's spirit from everyone. She said that she finds people questioning her win cute.

Tejasswi Prakash is set to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 6. When asked if the joy of winning the trophy was marred by all the controversies and people questioning her win, she said, "No, I was enjoying it all the more because they were doing what they did in the house as well. When I was in the (BB) house, people didn't want me to be a VIP. What would they do if I became a winner? Can't expect them to go on stage and be 'Oh my God!'. What do you expect from those becharas? Can't expect them to be happy that I won. You can't expect sportsman spirit from everybody. And everybody has the right to feel the way they want to feel. I am going to respect the way they feel."

Speaking about the love that she received on Bigg Boss 15, Tejasswi said, "The kind of love that I have been receiving from my fans was pretty evident, even when there was an episode when fans visited the BB house. People questioning my victory are so silly because there are so many platforms where I can show the love that I get from my fans. If they want to keep questioning my victory, then I think it's cute."

She further added, "I got a lot of love during Khatron Ke Khiladi also. People kept telling me 'had you not quit the show, you would have won'. But that doesn't mean that a person like me is going to question Karishma Tanna's victory. How stupid is that? She has worked really hard. That is the true sportsman spirit. I do feel had I not quit, I would have been in the finale, I would probably have won. But the fact is, I didn't and you have to accept it and be a woman about it...and for all the men, be a man about it (laughs)."

Tejasswi also revealed that she has not yet logged in to her Twitter account. So, she isn't aware of people questioning her win and feels good that way. "I have not even logged in to my Twitter to see what one's saying. I don't know who is questioning it. I don't know what's been happening outside. I swear it on Ganapati Bappa. But I have been getting calls and my friends have been saying 'Teju don't feel bad' and I am like, 'kis baare mein feel bad. Mujhe toh pata hi nahi, kya baat kar rahe ho?'. Ignorance is bliss. I don't want to know what someone is saying. I am a positive person. I believe in having positive energy for everybody."

Tejasswi feels if people are questioning her victory, they should also question other seasons' results. "There have been many platforms where I have received a lot of love and it has been proved in stats. I feel sad that I have to justify and prove that the love that was given to me was legit. But it's fine really. The love was very evident and the hatred of the people inside the house was also very evident. I think it's expecting too much out of them to dance and say 'Oh my God! Tejasswi, you won!' I think they gave a very honest reaction. So, I am very happy."

Tejasswi shared that she saw a Bigg Boss 15 winner in her. "I really think that I fought for myself and for my beliefs on the show, irrespective of whoever is saying whatever. I have always seen a Bigg Boss winner in me. I do feel I was 100 per cent deserving. I gave a tough fight to everyone but there were a lot of things happening to me, against me. I feel baaki ghar walon ka bhi isme bahut bada haath hai in making me the winner. I am very happy with the way they reacted and were with me (in the BB house). That is the reason people loved me all the more."
