Kartik Aaryan recently opened up about the ‘emotional time’ when his mom was battling cancer. The actor said that he is proud of her courage and strength.
Kartik Aaryan got emotional while talking about how his mom fought against cancer and won. The actor was speaking at a recent event when the video will surely touch your heart. Kartik danced with his mom and told her that he is proud of her for conquering the disease.
Kartik Aaryan is very close to his mom. Recently, he attended cancer prevention awareness drive in Mumbai and spoke about his mom’s arduous journey as she fought and won against cancer. In the video, a teary-eyed Kartik said, “It was a very emotional time for all of us, but I am so proud of my mom that she conquered this disease.”
He captioned his post, “From going for chemotherapy sessions during the shoot of these songs, to now dancing on stage on the same- The journey has been arduous! But her Positivity , Fortitude and Fearlessness kept us going. Today i can proudly say: My Mom fought the battle against cancer and WON. And for that we are all stronger. I am so so proud of you Mummy and I pay my respects to all the people who could not make it and to all the people who have shown courage fighting this disease (sic).”

Kartik Aaryan will be seen next in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Also starring Tabu and Kiara Advani, the film will hit theatres on May 20. Kartik has the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramaloo lined up as well. The Hindi remake has been titled Shehzada. Apart from these, Kartik's upcoming projects include Freddy, Captain India and Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled next.
