A 45-year-old pillion rider was killed after a hoarding crashed on her in Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur. The incident took place when the woman was on her way home from a condolence meeting.
A 45-year-old pillion rider was killed after a hoarding crashed on her. The incident took place at Thiruvonam village in Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur on Thursday. The deceased, identified as S Vijayarani, was a resident of Pudukottai district. Worse, the incident took place when the woman was on her way home from a condolence meeting. Vijayarani was on her relative's bike when the banner came crashing on her.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
