Tamil Nadu: Toll gate staff attacked in Chengalpattu area; CCTV captures incident

A toll gate staff was attacked by two men at the Paranur toll plaza near the Chengalpattu area in Tamil Nadu. The fast tag scanner was unable to read the tag of the vehicle, after which the barrier fell on the vehicle which irked the accused.
In a shocking incident, a toll gate staff working in the Paranur toll plaza near the Chengalpattu area was attacked by two men.
The incident took place on March 25, when around 8.40 pm, three men were travelling in an SUV stopped at Paranur toll plaza but the scanner could not read the fast tag.
Since the scanner was unable to read the vehicle’s fast tag which led to the barrier falling on the vehicle.
After that, two men got out of the vehicle and started yelling at the staff and slapped him. They then got back into the car and fled the spot.
With the help of the CCTV cameras, police could check the vehicle number and are trying to trace the vehicle.
