Tamil Nadu schools have announced holidays for Classes 10 to 12 till January 31 due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases and winters.
Tamil Nadu schools closed from Classes 10 to 12 until January 31. Earlier, the state government announced to close all schools from Classes 1 to 8. Strict Covid-19 guidelines were taken when physical classes were permitted for high school students. However, now, due to the rising number of Covid-19 and Omicron, all physical classes are banned.
Last month, red alert was issued in Tamil Nadu due to heavy rains due to which schools and colleges were closed in Chennai and several other districts.
