Minister and AIADMK candidate for Avadi Ma Foi K Pandiarajan is confident of winning with a better margin in the assembly election. Pandiarajan is no longer an outsider in Avadi but many challenges lie ahead.
From door-to-door campaigning to interacting with youngsters, AIADMK’s sitting MLA and Tamil Nadu minister Ma Foi K Pandiarajan is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his win from the Avadi constituency. Pandiarajan now has all good things to say for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami. “Amma’s legacy has been fully taken over by EPS. He has touched every section of society. Just like how Amma had taken over the mantle in 1989 and ensured the party integration in 1991, EPS has done the same. He has been the primary campaigner,” Pandiarajan says.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
