Tamil Nadu Assembly adopts resolution against Centre’s farm laws, opposition stages walkout

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin said that the resolution would be a landmark one, adding that it was in line with the DMK’s electoral promises ahead of the April 6 assembly polls.
The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on Saturday adopted a resolution urging the Centre to withdraw the three farm laws. A number of farmers' outfits have been sitting in protest against the farm laws on the outskirts of Delhi for several months now. In September 2020, President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to the three 'Agriculture Bills' that were earlier passed by Parliament.More Related News
