Madurai The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday directed the Block Development Officer of Kuruvikulam Union in Tenkasi district to immediately take steps to drain the sewage water that was discharged into a residential block in Alaganeri. A Division Bench of Justices T.S. Sivagnanam and S. Ananthi perused the photographs that were submitted in the case. The court directed that if steps were not taken at the earliest to drain the sewage water, then disciplinary action would be recommended.
