Taapsee Pannu is super proud of BF Mathias Boe for his role in India's Thomas Cup win

Taapsee Pannu praised her boyfriend Mathias Boe for his role in India's historic Thomas Cup win. Mathias is the Indian men’s badminton team’s doubles coach.

The Indian badminton team made history by winning the 2022 Thomas Cup. India defeated the 14-time champions Indonesia and made the country proud. While everyone is hailing Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj-Chirag Shetty and Kidambi Srikanth for helping India script history, Taapsee Pannu is also lauding her boyfriend, Mathias Boe, for his contribution in India’s historic win. Mathias is the Indian men’s badminton team’s doubles coach.

Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe’s relationship has been going strong for years. Today, May 15, she sang the praises of the Indian men’s badminton team’s doubles coach by sharing a sweet note for him. After India won, Taapsee posted a picture of one of the players hugging Mathias and wrote, “Mr Coach you made us proud (sic).”

Taapsee has been constantly rooting for India throughout the tournament. She never failed to share updates about the matches on social media. Before sharing an appreciation post for Mathias, she took to Instagram stories to hail India’s victory after the team won the first two matches in the best-of-five tie.

Mathias Boe is a Danish badminton coach. About her relationship with him, Taapsee Pannu told Brides Today, “Being with someone outside the industry was something I always wanted. Thankfully, very early on in my career, I ended up meeting the person who I find comfort in being with... Our perspectives are so diverse and different that our conversations are still intriguing and interesting. The cultural exchange is still so beautiful, even after so many years (sic).”

On the work front, Taapsee has Blurr, Tadka, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, Shabaash Mithu, Dunki and Dobaaraa. She was last seen in Looop Lapeta and Rashmi Rocket.
