The Tamil Nadu Police bagged 13 medals and two trophies in the 69th All India Police Duty Meet which was held at Nagpur, Maharashtra recently.
A total of 1,327 police personnel and 144 trained dogs from 21 states, one Union Territory, and seven Central Police Organizations (CPOs) across the country, belonging to 29 teams, participated.
The Tamil Nadu team secured the Winner’s Trophy and the Hard Line Trophy (for third position) in the Scientific Aids to Investigation events. The closing ceremony was presided over by Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, who also distributed the trophies to the winning teams.
