T.N. Health Minister launches nutrition awareness programme for students in Chennai schools
Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister Ma. Subramanian on Saturday (May 10, 2025) launched a health awareness programme at the Chennai Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School in Saidapet to educate students on disease prevention, nutrition, and healthy living.
According to a press release, similar programmes would be conducted at 1,256 schools across the city.
The Minister also inspected diagnostic services and laboratory facilities at the State Public Health Laboratory in Teynampet Zone.
Officials from the Greater Chennai Corporation and Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine were present.
