"Disapprobation of governmental inaction cannot be branded as an attempt to promote hatred between different communities," a bench of Justice L Nageshwar Rao and Justice S Ravindra Bhat observed on Thursday. An FIR was filed against Mukhim after the journalist, in a Facebook post in July 2020, demanded legal action against a group of youths who allegedly assaulted six non-tribals playing basketball in Lawsohtun.
