Stephen Colbert Catches Trump In The Middle Of A Massive Hypocrisy

The "Late Show" host said the president wants "Freaky Friday" rules.
“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert caught President Donald Trump trying to have it both ways.
When the stock market opened lower on Wednesday amid more bad news for the economy, the president took to social media to blame President Joe Biden, who left office more than three months ago.
“This is Biden’s stock market not Trump’s,” he wrote on his Truth Social website.
Colbert spotted a problem with that deflection: When Biden was president last year and stocks jumped, Trump tried to take the credit.
“This is the Trump stock market,” he wrote in an all-caps rant in January 2024. “Because my polls against Biden are so good that investors are projecting that I will win.”
