Spanish Ambassador Juan Antonio March Pujol visits St. Aloysius University, praising its heritage and promoting international academic partnerships.
Juan Antonio March Pujol, Ambassador of Spain to India, recently visited St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), marking a significant milestone in the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic and cultural engagement.
The Ambassador toured the St. Aloysius Chapel, where he expressed deep appreciation for the world-famous paintings, praising their artistic excellence and spiritual depth. He also conveyed his admiration for the University’s commitment to preserving its rich heritage and cultural legacy.
Mr. Pujol interacted with the University’s staff and faculty members. During his address, he underscored the importance of international collaboration in higher education, innovation and the expanding scope for academic partnerships between institutions in India and Spain.
The Ambassador also spoke about his book, Ctrl + Alt + Del: The Great Reset, which served as a focal point for interaction with students. The session witnessed an engaging discussion, during which students shared their reflections on the themes and ideas presented in the book.
The visit further reinforced St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University)’s commitment to promoting international partnerships, cross-cultural engagement, and a global outlook in teaching, learning and research.
The interaction was held in the presence of St. Aloysius Institutions’ rector Fr. Melwin J. Pinto, Vice Chancellor Praveen Martis and others.
