College holds entrepreneurship development programme

St. Aloysius College hosts Entrepreneurship Development Program featuring industry leaders and student presentations to foster entrepreneurial skills.
The School of Business and Management, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be university) organised the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) 2026 on Tuesday, February 10 at St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), Beeri.
Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry president P.B. Ahmed Mudassar inaugurated the programme in the presence of Kiran Kotha, Dean Rajani Suresh, student coordinators Riona Teresa Trindade, Jillson Hanson Machado, Renisha Lobo and others. Assistant Professor Swapna Rose coordinated the programme organised in collaboration with Santa Clara University.
In the technical sessions, Juice Bottle founder Preeti Nayak, KVP Business Solutions managing director Ajay Prabhu and Rohan Corporation director Dion Monteiro shared their experiences of their entrepreneurial journey. In the MentorPitch interaction held at the end of the programme, student entrepreneurs Thobisman Thomas, Joel Pinto, Aishwarya Francis, Manoj Kumar, Gwen D’Souza, Mohammed Tayseer and M.J. Akash presented their business plans under the guidance of Vathika Pai of Nirmala Travels.
