Municipal elections pass off peacefully in Cyberabad
Polling for the municipal elections concluded peacefully across the Cyberabad commissionerate on Wednesday, with senior officers reviewing security arrangements at various locations.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh inspected polling stations to assess security deployment and preparedness. He first visited Zilla Parishad High Schools (ZPHS) in Ravalkole, Yellampet under Medchal police station limits in the Quthbullapur zone. He later inspected arrangements at ZPHS in Lalgadi Malakpet and Aliabad MPPS polling stations in Aliabad Municipality under Genome Valley police station.
The Commissioner also visited Indresham Mandal Parishad Upper Primary School, Isnapur ZPHS and Chitkul Mandal Parishad Upper Primary School (MPPS) in Indresham and Isnapur municipalities under Patancheru police station limits in the Serilingampally zone. During his visits, he interacted with police personnel on election duty and instructed them to remain vigilant and discharge their responsibilities without any security lapses.

The official said all necessary measures had been taken to ensure that polling was conducted in a free, fair and peaceful way. He also encouraged citizens to exercise their franchise without fear and said strict arrangements were in place to maintain law and order throughout the polling process.
He was accompanied by Serilingampally DCP Ch. Srinivas, Quthbullapur zone in-charge DCP Sai Manohar, SB DCP Sudhindra, Crimes DCP Mutyam Reddy, Women and Child Safety Wing DCP Srujana Karanam and several other officials.
