Sidhu Moose Wala's unfortunate death has left the entire entertainment industry shocked. Sophie Choudry has now reacted to the news of his demise.

In an unfortunate turn of events, popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was killed in the Mansa district of Punjab. The singer was shot by unidentified assailants. The incident took place after Sidhu's security cover was withdrawn by the state government. Following the news of his death, several Punjabi and Bollywood celebrities condoled Sidhu's demise. Now, Sophie Choudry, too, has reacted to the unfortunate demise of Sidhu's untimely death.

Speaking exclusively with IndiaToday.in, Sophie Choudry mourned Sidhu Moose Wala's loss. She called his killing a 'heartbreaking tragedy'. "It is a heartbreaking tragedy! An artist, a music icon with a die-hard fan following across the world has been killed at the young age of 28. He had his whole life ahead of him. Can’t imagine what his family must be going through. My deepest condolences to them and his fans. May God grant his soul peace," said Sophie.

Sophie also took to Twitter and penned, "This is such tragic & shocking news!! #sidhumoosewala shot dead in Punjab. A music icon, a legend! My deepest condolences to his family & his fans across the world. Hope the perpetrators are brought to justice. May God grant his soul peace. This is truly sad (sic)."

Sidhu Moose Wala was born on June 17, 1993 in Mansa district of Punjab. His father, Balkar Singh, is an ex-armyman, and his mother, Charan Kaur, is a sarpanch. Sidhu Moose Wala was known for his gangster raps. He had joined Congress before the Punjab elections. He was regarded as one of the most controversial Punjabi singers. Sidhu Moose Wala apparently promoted gun culture through his songs.
