The Apple forum has several iPhone users reporting about the colour fading or discolouration issue with their iPhone 11 units.
Some iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 users are complaining about the colour fading issue that has also been reported on the company's official forum. Many users have claimed that the colour on the aluminium chassis of some iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 models disappear or fade away after some time. Interestingly, several users have stressed that they have been using their iPhone models with a case, making it even more confusing why the colour fade away. A Slovakia-based news website reports that the iPhone 12 PRODUCT(RED), which was being used with a case, started losing the deep red colour on the corners. The website adds that this has been the case with the iPhone 12 model only as nothing of this sort happened with the iPhone XR, which was being used with a similar case.
