Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his comeback to films after a hiatus of four years. The superstar will be seen in Siddharth Anand's Pathaan, which is set to release on January 25, 2023. Months before the release of his film, SRK left everyone stumped by his physical transformation. The actor set the temperature soaring with his shirtless photo on Instagram. But did you know SRK underwent rigorous training for 2 years to get a toned physique? The actor's trainer has revealed all the details.
In an interview with The Indian Express, celebrity trainer Prashant Subhash revealed how Shah Rukh Khan achieved his goal to get a toned physique.
"Since his look in Pathaan is very different, Shah Rukh started doing a lot of lifting heavy. Previously, we used to do a lot of circuit training and cardio workouts, but now we have incorporated more strength training — which helped him look better and bigger. It took us two years to build the toned physique you see on screen. His frame and look have completely changed," said Prashant.
He went on to reveal that SRK followed a strict diet regime which included lean meat, eggs and lentils. Say, for that matter, the superstar ended up getting injured during his training session but he bounced back.
In Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Post Pathaan, SRK will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. The superstar also has filmmaker Atlee's film Jawan with Nayanthara lined up.
