The 366th Urs commemoration of Shah Jahan has raised questions over why Mumtaz’s Urs at Taj Mahal is not commemorated

Every year the ‘Urs’ of the emperor is held at the historical location, in line with the Supreme Court’s permission. The Urs commemorates the death anniversary of the Mughal emperor. The 366th Urs of the emperor is being held at the Taj Mahal from 10th-12th March. Entry to the site remains free for locals and tourists alike.
