Seven years of Modi government: Shiv Sena says time for BJP to introspect

On the seventh anniversary of the NDA government at the Centre, the Shiv Sena said the Narendra Modi-led government needs to self-introspect as nothing concrete has been done by it in the last seven years.

Hitting out at its former ally, the Shiv Sena on Sunday said very little has been done for the betterment of the citizens by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, adding that the party needs to introspect. Senior party leader and Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut said nothing concrete has been done by the Modi government in the last seven years. “But we can still hope for some work. We are not saying we can’t hope as this government has been chosen by the people and has a majority,” he said. He added that a lot needed to be done by the government. “First there was the five years rule of Modi government and then it came to power again and then two years got washed away in the pandemic. But a lot needs to be done for the country,” he said.
