Senior citizens suffer as Mumbai vaccination centres run out of stock

Senior citizens, who were due for their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, complained of the vaccine shortage across various vaccination centres in Mumbai.
Most of the vaccination centres in Mumbai are out of stock. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has claimed that not enough stocks are being provided to the vaccine centres in the city and that out of 73 vaccination centres, only 37 are functional on Sunday. Due to this shortage, senior citizens are suffering the most. Mumbai has a total of 73 vaccination centres of which today only 37 are functional, that too with limited stocks. Only registered people will be given the vaccine dose. Most of the senior citizens, who were due to take their second dose, said they are suffering in this situation and that officials should have informed about the situation earlier.More Related News
