Senior citizen in Hyderabad arrested for sexually abusing minor

The accused, Gadhe Veera Reddy, is an author and publisher of law books in Hyderabad. He also threatened the victim’s family to withdraw the case against him or else he would kill himself and blame them.

Rachakonda police in Hyderabad on Monday, January 11, arrested a 72-year-old man for sexually abusing a 13-year-old minor girl. Gadhe Veera Reddy is an author and publisher of law books in Hyderabad.The victim’s mother was working as a house help and watch guard at the accused’s property.

“In September 2021, the accused came to the house of the victim and misbehaved with her by touching her private parts. Later, in December, when the victim's mother left for her native place after leaving her children in her brother’s house, the accused again went to their house in the absence of others and sexually exploited the victim,” said Rachakonda Police.
