Rachakonda police in Hyderabad on Monday, January 11, arrested a 72-year-old man for sexually abusing a 13-year-old minor girl. Gadhe Veera Reddy is an author and publisher of law books in Hyderabad.The victim’s mother was working as a house help and watch guard at the accused’s property.
“In September 2021, the accused came to the house of the victim and misbehaved with her by touching her private parts. Later, in December, when the victim's mother left for her native place after leaving her children in her brother’s house, the accused again went to their house in the absence of others and sexually exploited the victim,” said Rachakonda Police.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
