
Security heightened after bomb threat at Bengaluru airport

A bomb threat call was received by the control room of the Bengaluru airport on Friday morning, following which security arrangements have been heightened.
Security has been heightened after Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport received a bomb threat on Monday morning. The details are being verified by the police.
"Today early morning a bomb threat call was received by the control room. It is being verified by the police. Further details will be shared later," police said.
Following the threat call, a search was carried out by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force and the dog squad.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
