The second batch of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition has been fully booked within minutes of bookings opening, highlighting strong demand for the limited-run electric SUV. According to Mahindra & Mahindra, all 999 units allocated in the latest round were reserved in just seven minutes.
Priced at Rs 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition commands a premium of Rs 70,000 over its earlier introductory price. Deliveries for this batch are scheduled to begin from April 10, 2026.
The BE 6 Batman Edition was first introduced in August 2025 as a limited-production model inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy, directed by Christopher Nolan. The SUV was developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and is claimed to be the world’s first commercially available Batman-themed SUV.
Mahindra initially planned to build 300 units, but increased the allocation to 999 units ahead of bookings due to strong customer interest. The first batch sold out in just 135 seconds, turning the model into a collector’s item among enthusiasts.
Responding to continued demand, Mahindra reopened bookings in March 2026, offering another 999 units for a limited period. This second batch has now also been sold out within minutes.
The Batman Edition is based on the Pack Three 79kWh variant of the Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV. The model uses a 79kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 286hp and 380Nm of torque, with a claimed range of up to 682km on a single charge.
