SC to hear CBSE and ICSE evaluation formula concerns, CBSE Compartment exam 2021 cancellation plea on June 22

Supreme Court will hear the pleas concerning the CBSE and ICSE evaluation formulae, and the CBSE Compartment exam 2021 cancellation plea on Tuesday, June 22.

CBSE and ICSE have been asked by Supreme Court to respond to the concerns from students and parents on the Class 12 evaluation scheme formed after the 12th board exams were cancelled by the two major education board of India. Certain students and a parent’s association have flagged a few concerns regarding the evaluation schemes of both CBSE and ICSE. They said that many of the clauses were arbitrary and would hamper the future prospects of students. CBSE and ICSE counsels will respond to the queries in front of the special bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari on Tuesday, June 22. All pending petitions on CBSE’s decision to cancel the Class 12 board exams and the evaluation scheme concerns will be heard on the same day.
