Sarita Joshi gives befitting reply to person criticising Anupama. Watch promo

In the latest promo of Anupama: Namaste Amrica, Sarita Joshi gives a savage reply to a man finding fault in Anupama. The series premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on April 25.

Anupamaa's prequel, Anupama Namaste America, will soon begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The 11-episode series will narrate Anupama's story from 17 years ago when she got a chance to fulfill her dream. The new promos feature veteran actor Sarita Joshi, who plays Moti Baa. She is seen supporting her granddaughter-in-law in the clips.

Anupama Namaste America premieres on April 25 on Disney+ Hotstar. The official Instagram handle of Disney+ Hotstar shared the new promo featuring Rupali Ganguly and Sarita Joshi and captioned it, "Cannot wait to see this epic duo on screen! Hotstar Specials Anupama: Namaste America streaming from April 25 (sic)."

In the video, Moti Baa (Sarita Joshi) and Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) are seen buying vegetables in the market when a man stops and talks to Baa. He says, "Suna hai Anupama America jane wali hai, dance seekhaane, karne. Achha lagta hai kya ki achhe ghar ki bahu aise dance-wance kare (I have heard that Anupama is going to America to teach dance. Does it look nice that daughters-in-law of a good household do dance and all)?"

Sarita Joshi's Moti Baa has a savage reply to the man. She says, "Arrey arrey dhyaan se Bakuul bhai, gir gayi na." When Bakul asks what fell, she quips, "Aapki soch, ho sake toh utha lijiye."

Anupamaa's original cast will be seen in the prequel, with actors Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey essaying the roles of Anupama and Vanraj. Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, and Ekta Sariya will reprise their roles of Baa, Bapuji and Dolly, respectively.
