Samantha completes 12 years in film industry, hopes her ‘love story with cinema never ends’

Samantha penned a heartfelt note as she completed 12 years in the film industry. The actress called her journey the best and thanked her fans.

Samantha is a powerhouse when it comes to acting. On Saturday, February 26, the actress took to Instagram to share some beautiful photos of herself and penned a note on completing 12 years in the film industry. She also thanked her ‘loyal fans’ and hoped that her love story with cinema never ends.

Samantha will be seen next in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. It was in 2010 that she made her debut in films with the Telugu romance drama, Ye Maaya Chesave. Today, she completed 12 years in the film industry. Taking to Instagram, Samantha shared a special post marking the occasion.

She wrote, “I woke up this morning to realize that I’ve completed 12 years in the Film Industry. It’s been 12 years of memories that revolve around Lights, Camera, action and incomparable moments. I am filled with gratitude for having had this blessed journey and the best, most loyal fans in the world! Here’s hoping my love story with Cinema never ends and abounds from strength to strength (sic).”

Samantha is currently waiting for the release of Gunasekar's Shaakuntalam and Vignesh Shivan's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The actress has also signed her first foreign film, Arrangements of Love, in which she will play the role of a bisexual Indian woman. Samantha was recently seen in the Telugu film Pushpa, in which she danced to the hit song, Oa Antava.
