The NIA chargesheet in the Antilia bomb scare case said that Sachin Vaze wanted to regain his clout as an encounter specialist and planted the explosives laden SUV outside billionaire Mukesh Ambani's residence to achieve the same.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
