Runway 34 box office collection Day 17: Ajay Devgn's film records low numbers during weekend

Ajay Devgn-starrer Runway 34 has failed to impress the audience. The film did not do great business during the weekend.

Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 is not doing great business at the box office. The film, which was released alongside Heropanti 2, has tanked at the box office. Even after positive word of mouth, the audience preferred watching Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 over Runway 34. Further, the release of Doctor Strange 2 affected the box office collection.

Ajay Devgn's third directorial, Runway 34 enjoys an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani and Carry Minati. Runway 34, according to reports is not doing great. In the third weekend, the film did average business. Even after more than average reviews, the film's business was largely affected by Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 and Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr Strange 2.

Runway 34 is a gripping film, inspired by the true story behind the Jet Airways Doha to Kochi flight, 9W 555. Due to bad weather and low visibility, the pilot, in this case, Vikrant, had the impossible choice of attempting a landing that could go either way. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh. It was released in the theatres on April 29.
