T20 World Cup: Suryakumar Yadav's praises were so high for Sanju Samson that the Indian wicketkeeper had to step in and ask the Indian captain not to make him cry in hilarious fashion. Samson's sensational knock helped India make it to the semi-final of the T20 World Cup.

Suryakumar Yadav's praise for Sanju Samson went to a point where the wicketkeeper hilariously asked his captain to stop or else he would start crying. Samson played an innings of a lifetime to help India get over the finish line and make their way into the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2026.

The wicketkeeper-batter broke the record of Virat Kohli for the highest score in a successful run-chase for India in T20 World Cups, scoring 97 off 50 balls. He hit the winning runs and on his way back to the dugout, was greeted by Suryakumar, who took his cap off and bowed down to him. In a video released by the BCCI, Suryakumar was seen talking non-stop about Samson and the hilarious reply from the wicketkeeper can be seen towards the end of the clip.

"Rulayega kya pagle? (Will you make me cry?)," said Samson to Suryakumar.

Suryakumar reiterated his statement on Samson from after the game to start the video and revealed how the wicketkeeper told the players to put the team ahead of everything else during the camp.
